Gaby Bolt: 10 Funniest Things I’ve Seen (Online) | comedy

meIt’s an honor to be asked to submit the 10 funniest things I’ve seen on the internet, but it’s also the most exhausting list I’ve ever made, because a) How am I supposed to pick the 10? and b) I have the smartest sense of humor. So I hope my list holds up! (You’ll probably judge me for a lot of this.)

Twitter account Tweet embed It seems like it’s just kind of funny for a kid band, but what I love about it is that most of the time you don’t even have to be able to read music to find these funny people. I’m not interested in astrology much, but this stuff has been turned into personal horoscopes.

Rachel Harper (thatrachelharper on TikTok) is one of the funniest people I’ve met on the Internet. Not only is her timing quite specific but her singing and impressionistic skills are completely off the charts. This impression of Julie Andrews as Maria in The Sound of Music made me die. It’s a great.

3. A wonderful 7-tone almond symphony

Listen. Funny farts. They are. I’m tired of pretending my sense of humor is “too high” for fart noises. Do you know what’s funnier than a fart? Fart set on a piece of orchestral music. It’s bloody funny.

4. Hannah Montana Transitional Music

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah

I said you guys would judge me for some of these things but I don’t care. This music, played in transitions between scenes on the Hannah Montana TV show, made me cry with laughter. Even better, it’s like a mood soundboard! Oh, to go on with the emotions of life with the clamor of “Ooohhhhh whoa whoa yeah.”

This series by Molly McCrann (Moldogaa on TikTok) is equal parts funny and disturbing. I highly recommend going back to the series and gradually seeing how intense it gets. You should also check out more of McCran’s work – it’s totally unpacked and hilarious.

This Tiktok shared by @sashaandnate brings me so much joy. It is also very suitable for me because playing with musicians who are full of energy is so much fun.

7. Candyman Podcast
Anyone who’s heard me talk about podcasts lately knows how lame I’ve been with this podcast. The Sketch Big Big Big trio (Madi Savage, Ella Lawry and Millie Holten) did a closed podcast, retelling the story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as a true crime show. It’s the funniest audio experience I’ve ever had. I won’t give away much so just listen to this.

I’ve been a huge fan of Sam’s comedy pretty much ever since I got on TikTok (she’s on @samanthandrew1). Her writing is impeccable and the acting is always great. This is a new favorite of mine, mocking Vogue’s In the Bag videos.

This video made me howl, because I know the pain of asking a friend for help at the weirdness that is the artistic process. This is a good drawing.

10. Share the House by Good Pearl

Ending with an effect on me. Jude Perl’s Sharehouse song perfectly sings the reality of living with “all your friends (or people you’re friends with by default)” when that living arrangement has outgrown its welcome. It’s equal parts fun and serious, and I think it’s pretty cool.
