Apple’s new studio monitor comes with three different mounting options – a standard tilt-only stand, a tilt-and-height stand, and a VESA mount adapter. It is important to note that the mounts are built into the monitor and are therefore not interchangeable.
When placing an order for a Studio Display, Apple warns that “every stand or mounting adapter is built-in. They are not interchangeable, so it is important to consider your workspace needs at the time of purchase.”
The standard mount and VESA mount adapter come at no additional cost to $1,599 or $1,899 on a nano-fabric basis, while a tilt-and-height mount will increase the price of the Studio Display by $399.
The standard tilt monitor only offers 30 degrees of tilt, with 5 degrees down and 25 degrees up. The tilt-and-height-adjustable mount has the same 30-degree tilt flexibility, along with a height adjustment of up to 105mm.
The studio demo along with Mac Studio was made available for pre-order yesterday and will be available on March 18th.
