There are two types of mid-band spectrum that AT&T is focusing on, known as the C-band and 3.45GHz. The first is what Verizon and AT&T have already started rolling out and is often used in 5G internationally, making it easier to find and enable it in a number of phones already available such as the Samsung Galaxy S21, iPhone 12, iPhone 13 and Google Pixel 6. The carrier already has List of devices that support C . band.

However, the 3.45GHz spectrum is not common in phones today and AT&T has not committed to upgrading previous hardware to support this network. (Mixing matters even more confusing is that AT&T is promoting both its mid-band flavors, as well as its millimeter wave network, as “5G Plus”.)

future flagship phones, Starting with the Galaxy S22 line (and likely include many phones below), Expected to work with all flavors of AT&T’s 5G.
