Hello everyone and welcome to the week! It’s time again to take a look at the noteworthy updates of the past seven days. Patrick’s Day updates, but that’s too much green since the holiday is already in this year’s rearview mirror. Instead, I tried to include a balanced palette of updates to celebrate the rainbow of weird and beloved colors on the App Store. Borrow, metaphor! Of course, you can follow the updates yourself by participating in the TouchArcade forums. This weekly summary is just here to provide you with the things you may have missed. Let’s go to it!
Jetpack JoyrideAfter all the hype, I’m still starting with the St. Patrick’s Day update. I mean, people love them. They love the holiday where everyone gets drunk and wears green. I can’t blame them. I can’t blame Jetpack Joyride As for. You can still get in on the action for a little while, as three holiday-themed jetpacks are ready to grab along with the amazing Celtic Teleporter. Throw in poison skin and some wild clothes for Barry and you’ll have plenty to keep you occupied until the next event begins.
Vigil RPG, $1.99 This is a minor update. Just a minor update, and there aren’t a lot of new stuff in it. But I really like it Vigil RPG I am happy to see its developer continue to support the game after so many years. This update fixes text formatting on the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro Max, while adding some interesting new comments for Bo the Bartender to get rid of. The only catch is that you have to be a little low-key to see those new words of wisdom. Good excuse for throwing in a new character, I think.
NBA 2K22 Arcade EditionA big update to the first episodes of Apple Arcade game, that’s it. MyCareer and The Association styles get a new NBA All-Star 22 Stadium, as well as matching jerseys. All NBA team rosters have been updated, with player attributes and ratings modified. Nice and updated, at least for this week. In terms of new features and other additions, we have a new replay mode so you can review your highlights, and a handy language toggle in the settings menu so you don’t have to reset the game. There are also a lot of bug fixes, which isn’t a bad thing at all.
Angry Birds ReloadThere was a time when your only hope was to get through a difficult stage Angry birds To hit your head with it to get it. Then the mighty eagle came and the warriors rejoiced. But how do you present the Mighty Eagle when you don’t sell IAPs anymore? You make it a daily login bonus, apparently. Angry Birds Reload It will now give you some powerful eagles as long as you come to play. Use it for particularly annoying levels, or save it for a rainy day that will never come. The force is yours.
Horizon ChaseTired Free: Weekly challenges. wired: daily challenges. This is the story with the latest update of the amazing racer Horizon Chase, allowing you to earn more rewards and giving you an excuse to play every day. And who doesn’t want to play? Horizon Chase every day? Shoot it, run across four tracks, and collect your goodies. It is a win. Your brain will love you for a dopamine hit, isn’t life mostly all about keeping Brian-san happy? It sure is.
Temple Run: Puzzle AdventureThis week’s mandatory update of the free matching puzzle game is another Apple Arcade game that’s technically not free to play. I’m tired of thinking of clever things to say Ton Blast, Sorry. It doesn’t make much difference, I think. You get sixty new levels to play, plus a new set of courses. There’s also a new Treasure Trove feature that sees you earn stars for recovering relics in a valuable collection. Sure, that’s a reasonable enough incentive to play.
Subway SurfersThere is a certain magic with cherry blossoms when spring begins, and as we all know, when you think of cherry blossoms you think of… Vancouver? Well whatever. No excuse to get my mother’s part into my life, I guess. Surf your way through gorgeous flowering trees with the new Surfer Pink, and no, not that pink. Not related at all, I’m sure. Collect the tree-lined spring board, score Zayn’s hidden outfit, and blast your way to the New York Marathon Challenge for even more rewards.
BrawlhallaFree You might have thought St. Patrick’s Day updates were one and over with Jetpack Joyride things. Goofs! absolute Goofs! to a path There is another thing. One to unlock and one to save! You I know this is. Wait, what am I talking about? Let’s keep moving. Some new holiday-themed items are available in Luck o’ the Brawl, an event that’s probably coming to an end as you’re reading this. This update also brings a new legend in the form of Arcadia the Fairy Queen. She has a spear, a large sword and a giant beetle. What could you have asked for more? I hope it’s not much more than that, as this is basically an update. next one!
Marvel future battle, Free Gosh, you can really see who gave the rights to likeness and who wasn’t here. Latest event in future marvel battle Centered around Disney Plus hook TV show, which was pretty darned in my books. This means new uniforms for Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, and Maya Lopez, as well as Tier-3 Hawkeye versions and the ability to outrun Kate and Maya. There is a new collectible in the form of SHIELD archives (formerly Directorate of Espionage Logistics for Intervention in Strategic Risks, now Department of Intervention Implementation and Strategic Homeland Supply). As a nice bonus, there are now repeat and autoplay options in story mode. No pizza dog? Boo, there is no coveted prize for you!
Taiko no Tatsujin Pop Tap BeatWell, this is the last match. By default, you get the desired UMMSotW This week’s prize, so hopefully it will live up to that. There are some tweaks and new features, but let’s be real, we’re here for the new songs. There is great success in this new version: Baby Shark. Ha ha, oh number! Also in this update is You have a friend inside me From Toy StoryAnd the blue fascinationAnd some other songs. Baaaaby Shark, do what needs to be done oh nooooooo!
This is about wrapping up important updates last week. I’m sure I missed some, so feel free to comment below and let everyone know if you think something should be mentioned. As usual, major updates will likely have their own news stories throughout this week, and I’ll be back next Monday to recap and fill in the blanks. I had a fun week!
