Best PC Gamers of 2021

We leave in 2021 with mixed feelings. While a massive shortage of chips rages, making it nearly impossible to get a new graphics card at retail, it isn’t. everyone Bad News. Brands still offer some of the best hardware we’ve seen to date, from lightweight gaming mice to RTX gaming laptops and CPUs that usher in support for next-generation technologies.

We’ve seen the introduction of DDR5 RAM and some musings about PCIe 5.0, though only Intel joined the PCIe 4.0 bandwagon earlier this year. Eve and Asus debuted their first gaming monitor with HDMI 2.1 and 4K at 144Hz that has since become widely available as a result. And AIO coolers are getting even cooler, with the MSI MEG CoreL Liquid S360 providing a screen that also plays .mp4 videos as well as animations.

With some products barely touching the shelves, we avoided the awards gala hype, but we still wanted to show off our favorite hardware of the year.

Needless to say, the best graphics card in 2021 is the one you can get, but Nvidia’s cloud gaming solution is a close second. You’d be forgiven if you thought it was just a weird dream that Intel launched its 11th-generation Rocket Lake CPUs this year, but it’s true, the blue team really did it twice in 2021. Alder Lake’s cards take the cake, though, giving us The 12th generation is a mid-range marvel with the Intel Core i5 12600K. It supports DDR5, is compatible with PCIe 5.0 and outperforms AMD chips that cost more than twice as much.

2021 wasn’t lacking in good mice to choose from, but few have impressed us more than the SteelSeries Rival 5. It’s no secret that the PC is our favorite platform here, but we have to give Sony and Microsoft a big handshake to give the technology a much-needed boost with their new consoles. 4K resolution at 144Hz is finally It’s becoming an accessible standard for gaming monitors, and crowd-funded Eve Spectrum is at least partly responsible for spearheading the shipment.
